Clementine ("Clemy" or "Tina") Slos was born Sept 4, 1913 in Mishawaka,IN to August and Marie DeMaertelaere. She married Remi Slos and they had five children Rose Hurlbut, Marlene (Fred Matricardi) Walker, Betty (Al) Bonne, JoAnn Burns, and David (Janeen) Slos. She was a wonderful cook and taught her secrets to her daughters and grand-daughters. She spent many holidays cooking for family gatherings in her large kitchen on the farm in Mishawaka, IN. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen, IN. She died Sunday May 4, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Mishawaka, IN. She asked to be cremated after services at the Palmer Funeral Home in Mishawaka, IN on May 8, 2008 and her ern was took to the Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka, IN.
